Indiana Office of the Attorney General Restoration Project
The Sapphire provided design and decorative painting services for the restoration of the Office of the Attorney General inside the historic Indiana Statehouse. We were honored to be given the responsibility of restoring the People’s House and maintaining our collective asset. We created and applied a design that suited the historic building while managing costs. Over 9 months, 4 Sapphire Artists repaired and painted all the plaster moldings, medallions, walls and ceilings. We used soft gold, sage and burgundy metallics alongside a deep blue, matched from the White House, and alabaster white for the palette to harmonize with the oak wood trim and red, white, grey, and black marble.
This video highlights the Sapphire’s restoration work with before and after photos, time-lapse footage of the process and amazing drone shots of the finished project. Special Thanks to the Sapphire Artists for their dedicated work on this project: Ben Moran, Kevin Angell, Kara Beth Rasure with Lead Artist and Designer David Orr.
